This recipe has been in my family for years. Since I have moved away from home, my mom calls me on every holiday to make sure that I have made "the dip". Just one bite of this brings me back to my childhood, lol

How to Make Garlic Dip

Step-by-Step

  1. Place the cream cheese in bowl, add the mayo and mash until creamy. I usually add some of the juice from the olive container to make it even creamier
  2. Chop the olives as big or small as you prefer and add to the cream cheese mixture.
Add the garlic. **NOTE: I use garlic paste because you don't bite into big chunks of garlic but my family has used diced garlic all the time. It's just a matter of taste.
  3. Mix all of this together. You can serve this with regular Ruffle potato chips, raw veggies or you can serve in a bread bowl.
  4. **NOTE: Adjust this recipe according to your tastes. I know in my family it all depended on who was making this. Some people would have more olives, and less garlic and then others would have just the opposite.
