garlic dip
(1 RATING)
This recipe has been in my family for years. Since I have moved away from home, my mom calls me on every holiday to make sure that I have made "the dip". Just one bite of this brings me back to my childhood, lol

Ingredients
- 2 packages cream cheese, room temperature
- 1/4 cup diced green olives
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon garlic paste
How To Make garlic dip
-
Step 1Place the cream cheese in bowl, add the mayo and mash until creamy. I usually add some of the juice from the olive container to make it even creamier
-
Step 2Chop the olives as big or small as you prefer and add to the cream cheese mixture. Add the garlic. **NOTE: I use garlic paste because you don't bite into big chunks of garlic but my family has used diced garlic all the time. It's just a matter of taste.
-
Step 3Mix all of this together. You can serve this with regular Ruffle potato chips, raw veggies or you can serve in a bread bowl.
-
Step 4**NOTE: Adjust this recipe according to your tastes. I know in my family it all depended on who was making this. Some people would have more olives, and less garlic and then others would have just the opposite.
