French Onion Dip
16 ozsour cream
1 1/2 cyellow onion, thinly sliced
2 cbeef stock (see recipe in "the basics")
·kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
How to Make French Onion Dip
- Add about 1 tablespoon vegetable oil to skillet and heat over medium heat.
- Add onions and season with salt and pepper. Cook slowly until caramelized and brown.
- Add beef stock and reduce to 1 tablespoon. Remove from heat and let cool to room temp.
- Combine onion mixture with sour cream and stir to mix well.
