I serve this a lot for picnics, parties, you name it! It is so simple and everyone loves it. I often double the recipe because it disappears so quickly! If you use nacho cheese soup it will give you a bit more bite, I prefer cheddar and let the salsa give it a kick. You can really make this your own. Try it with some chopped green chilis in the refried beans if you like spice!

How to Make Fiesta Dip


  • 1In a microwave-safe dish spread the refried beans evenly over the bottom of the dish.
  • 2On top of the refried bean layer, spread the soup evenly on top of the beans.
  • 3Microwave the refried beans and cheese soup until hot, about 3 to 5 minutes depending on your microwave.
  • 4Pour the salsa over top of the soup and spread evenly. Heat this for a few seconds if you want the salsa warm.
  • 5Serve with sour cream and tortilla chips.
