Ingredients
- 1 package ranch salad dressing mix
- 1/2 cup hellman's mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup milk
- 8 ounces chive cream cheese, softened
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese, shredded and set out at room temperature for 1 hour
- 1/2 to 3/4 cups toasted almonds, sliced or slivered
- - (cheddar cheese may be anything from mild to extra-sharp, depending on your taste.)
How To Make ellen's tangy cheese ball

Step 1In a large bowl, mix together the salad dressing mix, mayonnaise, milk, and cream cheese with an electric mixer.

Step 2Add the cheddar cheese and mix well. Cover and freeze mixture for 30 minutes.

Step 3Shape the cheese into a ball and roll in the toasted almonds. Serve with assorted crackers or chips.
