This is a hit with our family as a dip or a spread for crackers. My husband even makes a sandwich with it! The shrimp can be cooked early in morning and chilled and then make recipe in afternoon.

How To Make easy shrimp dip

  • 1
Cream mayonnaise and cream cheese (helps to have cheese at room temperature). Add rest of ingredients and mix well. I have also doubled this recipe when having company. I prefer to chill several hours to allow flavors to mingle well. Stir after chilling and serve with crackers or chips. Stores in refrigerator for about 4 days.

Note: If you prefer, after shrimp is cooked, cooled and peeled, you can grind the shrimp, onions and pepper together. It is very pretty made with half red and half green pepper. I prefer diced shrimp and vegetables so you can get a better taste of each item.
