My mom taught me how to make this dip when I was young. It is SUPER easy and SUPER yummy! Hope you all enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 can(s)
    refried beans (i like to get the spicy one)
  • 1
    head of lettuce
  • 1 jar(s)
    mild salsa
  • 2 c
    mozzarella or cheddar jack cheese
  • 1-2 c
    sour cream
  • 1 pkg
    tortilla chips
  • 1 can(s)
    black olives

How to Make Easy Peasy Taco Dip

Step-by-Step

  1. In a large baking pan ( I use the large pyrex) spread out the refried beans on the bottom.
  2. Pour the jar of salsa onto the refried beans and spread.
  3. Take handfuls out of the head of lettuce and shread it on top of the salsa with your hands.
  4. Add 1-2 cups of the cheese to cover lettuce.
  5. Using a spoon, put dallops of sour cream in a line (lengthwise) down the entire creation! If you would like, add sliced black olives!
