Fry sauce has been around since the 1940s. It’s been a popular condiment in the western United States for a long time, but in recent years, it’s become popular across the country. This simple sauce is a mixture of mayonnaise and ketchup. Seasonings can be added, too. If you’ve never tasted it before, give our easy and delicious fry sauce a try. It’s creamy, tangy, and has a little kick. One bite, you’ll have a hard time eating French fries (or tater tots!) without it.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon paprika

How To Make easy fry sauce

  • Ketchup, mayonnaise, and pickle juice in a bowl.
    Step 1
    Mix the mayo, ketchup, and pickle juice.
  • Onion powder, cayenne pepper, and paprika added.
    Step 2
    Add the onion powder, cayenne pepper, and paprika. Mix thoroughly.
  • Dip in a container to chill in the fridge.
    Step 3
    Transfer the dip into a container. Refrigerate for a couple of hours so the flavors can come together.
  • Fry sauce served with french fries.
    Step 4
    Place in a small bowl and serve.
