How to Make Easy Caramel Sauce
- Cook together the stick of butter or margarine with 1 cup of brown sugar. Cook on medium to medium low unti sugar is melted.
- Stir in 1/2 cup of heavy cream; bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add vanilla.
- Serve over icecream, pound cake, whatever you wish really.
- makes 1 1/2 cups. Will keep for one week in a covered container in the refrigator
