Ingredients
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- 1 cup light brown sugar ( i have used the dark also)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
How To Make easy caramel sauce

Step 1Cook together the stick of butter or margarine with 1 cup of brown sugar. Cook on medium to medium low unti sugar is melted.

Step 2Stir in 1/2 cup of heavy cream; bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add vanilla.

Step 3Serve over icecream, pound cake, whatever you wish really.

Step 4makes 1 1/2 cups. Will keep for one week in a covered container in the refrigator
