I love guacamole and this recipe is easy and delicious. The cream cheese is the secret ingredient. I found this recipe on line and haven't looked for another guacamole recipe since.

Ingredients

  • 3
    avocados--peeled, pitted, diced
  • 1 Tbsp
    sour cream
  • 6 oz
    cream cheese-softened
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 1 dash(es)
    pepper
  • 1 pinch
    garlic salt
  • 1 pinch
    onion powder
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    salsa (your favorite)

How to Make Creamy Guacamole Dip

Step-by-Step

  1. Blend the avocado, sour cream, cream cheese and salsa until desired consistency in a bowl which has a lid. Mix the spices together, then blend into the guacamole mixture. Cover with lid and refrigerate for a least 1/2 hour before serving.
  2. ***Note** salsa is optional can add a little more sour cream to make it creamier and/or a little more cream cheese.
