My sister-in-law made this many years ago and wrote down the recipe for me. I tweaked it a bit. Thought I had lost it a few years back but just came across it the other day. Can't wait to make it again. *Cooking time is chilling time*

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup canned pure pumpkin
  • 3 tablespoons sugar, white
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg (or 1/8 tsp ground)
  • 1/4 teaspoon cloves, ground
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (not imitation)
  • 3/4-1 cup graham crackers, crumbled (or walnuts), optional

How To Make cream cheese pumpkin dip

  • Step 1
    Mix all ingredients (except for crackers or nuts)together in a bowl with an electric mixer at medium speed until well blended.
  • Step 2
    Place in a serving bowl, cover and chill for about 30 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle top of dip with graham crackers or walnuts (optional).
  • Step 4
    I like to serve with apple wedges.
