I use this sauce for vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes and asparagus. I also use it as a dip by adding jalapenos and a little garlic. I have also used it as a spread on sandwiches and in casseroles instead of shredding cheese. It saves time and energy. Enjoy! :)

How to Make Cheese Sauce

Step-by-Step

  1. Pre-heat burner on Medium High Heat with saucepot on burner
  2. Pour Milk into mixing bowl
  3. Add Cornstarch to milk and stir with whisk until well blended
  4. Add Butter and Cheddar Cheese to mixing bowl and mix all ingredients together well
  5. Pour mixing bowl ingredients into saucepan on preheated burner
  6. Add the Salt and Parsley to the sauce pot
  7. Stir every 2-3 minutes until it thickens to right consistency. I like my sauce thick so I let it cook for about 20 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and serve.
