I use this sauce for vegetables like broccoli, cauliflower, potatoes and asparagus. I also use it as a dip by adding jalapenos and a little garlic. I have also used it as a spread on sandwiches and in casseroles instead of shredding cheese. It saves time and energy. Enjoy! :)

real butter
1/2 tsp
1 lb
cheese (i use cheddar)
1/4 tsp
parsley (optional)

How to Make Cheese Sauce


  • 1Pre-heat burner on Medium High Heat with saucepot on burner
  • 2Pour Milk into mixing bowl
  • 3Add Cornstarch to milk and stir with whisk until well blended
  • 4Add Butter and Cheddar Cheese to mixing bowl and mix all ingredients together well
  • 5Pour mixing bowl ingredients into saucepan on preheated burner
  • 6Add the Salt and Parsley to the sauce pot
  • 7Stir every 2-3 minutes until it thickens to right consistency. I like my sauce thick so I let it cook for about 20 minutes.
  • 8Remove from heat and serve.
