Cheddar Ale Spread
Another recipe that is so simple but yet wonderful. I got this recipe a long time ago from Brown Eyed Baker.
8 ozcream cheese
2 tspdijjon mustard
1 1/2 cshredded extra sharp cheddar cheese
2 Tbspheavy cream
1/4 cbeer (anything but light)
2 Tbspfresh parsley (i substituted 2 teaspoons dried)
How to Make Cheddar Ale Spread
- Combine cream cheese, mustard, cheddar cheese, cream and salt in a food processor. Process for 30 seconds, add beer, and continue processing until very smooth. Pulse in the parsley until just dispersed.
- This can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. You will need to take out an hour before serving if you do refrigerate.
