This is another one of my "What do I have in the fridge?" creations...

Ingredients

  • 1 jar cheez whiz
  • 2 packages cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2-3 - broccoli crowns
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 package italian dressing mix
  • 1 package shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make broccoli dip

  • Step 1
    Steam the broccoli with the italian dressing package. *DON'T OVER-COOK* (I prefer to leave the stems out, but if you put them in, chop them smaller.)
  • Step 2
    In a medium sauce pan melt down the cream cheese with the mayo and cheez whiz. Be sure to constantly stir on low to medium heat, the cheez will burn if you leave it unattended.
  • Step 3
    Add the dry ingredients and the italian seasoned broccoli.
  • Step 4
    Put it in an oven safe dish and sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top. Bring it to a bubbling hotness and serve with bread or chips!!
