Bhainee's Sour Cream Dip/Chutney

perfect with ridged potato chips to the best biriyani (spiced rice & chicken pilaf)

sour cream
1 c
cilantro, fresh, rough chopped
1-2 Tbsp
cumin seed
salt to taste


1in dry pan toast cumin seeds, jiggle pan slightly or use utensil to move seeds periodically and prevent over browning. Should turn slightly darker and have a toasty smell. - about 1 - 2 minutes. crush or grind if you have the means.

wash/dry and rough chop cilantro and place in blender/food processor and blend/chop (can be pulse if you prefer)until mostly chopped.

Add sour cream, cumin seeds and salt to cilantro and blend/puree and SERVE!!
