We never have a family gathering without this. It has even been made up, chilled, stored in luggage and taken on a recent trip to Texas. (Hotel had mini-fridge so it went from insulated bag to fridge).

prep time 5 Min
cook time 5 Min
method ---
yield for a gathering of 20 I use 4-5 bricks of cream cheese - but then again we love it.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature
  • Few dash worcestershire
  • Few dash ketchup - just for color
  • dash milk - just enough to help cream the cheese
  • dash onion salt - to taste
  • dash garlic salt - to taste

How To Make best chip dip ever

  • Step 1
Place cream cheese into processor and add a little milk - blend until smooth adding small doses of milk as needed. If cream cheese is soft enough you can even whip this up with a fork.
  • Step 2
Add worcestershire and ketchup - just enough ketchup to give it a little color. Mix until fully blended.
  • Step 3
Add onion and garlic salt - small shakes and taste after blended. Don't want to make it to salty. Do not substitute garlic powder for the salt - it has been tried by a family member and everyone turns up their nose at the difference in taste :)
