This dip was the first of my recipes to get a reputation & is requested all the time. Even my grandma loved it!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces shredded cheddar
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 to 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/2 cup beer
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • - lime juice, to taste
  • - hot sauce, to taste

How To Make beer cheese dip

  • Step 1
    Put all ingredients in large blender or food processor & blend until smooth. Add more beer &/or salsa to get to preferred texture.
  • Step 2
    Refrigerate for at least 2 hours for flavors to meld. Serve cold or room temp with tortilla chips.
