beefy cheesy dip

I serve this at every gathering I host. It makes more than enough for a 2-qt slow cooker, which I keep it in to keep the dip warm.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound velveeta
  • 1 jar salsa, chunky
  • 1 pound each, ground beef and pork sausage

How To Make beefy cheesy dip

  • Step 1
    Brown ground beef and sausage together in a large pan.
  • Step 2
    While your meat is browning, cut Velveeta into cubes (however small you like). This will help with melting into the meat.
  • Step 3
    Drain fat from ground beef/sausage. Return to medium heat and add Velveeta, cubed. Once melted and mixed together, add the jar of salsa and heat thoroughly.
  • Step 4
    Serve with Fritos corn chips or sturdy tortilla chips.
