Baked Taco Dip: has been a big hit with our family for years. I will prepare this for dinner on the nights we have make your own nachos. Also works well for a taco salad.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup favorite picante sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped green onion
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup waterr
- - serve with favorite tortilla chips
- - can top dip with fresh tomatoes, black olives or sour cream
How To Make baked taco dip

Step 1Brown ground beef, drain off fat. Add 1 pkg. of taco seasoning mix and 1/2 cup of water. Cook for 15 minutes until water cooks off.

Step 2Put seasoned ground beef into a casserole dish and spoon at least a cup of picante sauce over the beef. Top the picante sauce with the chopped green onions. Then top with the grated cheddar cheese.

Step 3Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.

Step 4Serve baked taco dip with favorite tortilla chips. Chopped fresh tomatoes, black olives and sour cream make great toppings for dip.
