This is a variation on a Bacon Tomato dip I had come across... not a big fan of tomatoes, so I made this instead

Ingredients
- 8 ounces sour cream (fat free or regular)
- 8 ounces real mayonnaise (fat free or regular)
- 1 can real bacon bits
- 8 ounces grated cheese (cheddar or colby-jack)
- 1 tablespoon minced onion (reconstitute w/water for 45 seconds in microwave)
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon dried cilantro (for color) (optional)
How To Make bacon cheese dip

Step 1Mix all ingredients in a 4 cup bowl and refrigerate 3 hours or overnight.

Step 2Makes a good spread for crackers (any kind you like) or use corn or tortilla chips vs. potato chips, as this is a heavier dip.
