I love ginger snaps with a glass of cold milk. This recipe will give me another way to to enjoy these crisp little cookies. I found this simple recipe in Christy Jordan's Southern Plate cookbook. Note:Unlike some pp dips,this recipe does not have sour cream as an ingredient.

Ingredients
- 08 ounces cream cheese
- 02 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1-15oz. can pumpkin pie filling
- 1-1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
How To Make autumn pumpkin pie dip

Step 1In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and confectioners sugar at medium speed with a hand mixer.

Step 2Add the pie filling, ground cinnamon, and ginger and beat well.

Step 3Cover and chill.

Step 4Serve with ginger snaps and sliced apples. Note:I think sprinkling crushed gingersnaps on top of dip will make a pretty presentation.
