autumn pumpkin pie dip

I love ginger snaps with a glass of cold milk. This recipe will give me another way to to enjoy these crisp little cookies. I found this simple recipe in Christy Jordan's Southern Plate cookbook. Note:Unlike some pp dips,this recipe does not have sour cream as an ingredient.

Ingredients

  • 08 ounces cream cheese
  • 02 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1-15oz. can pumpkin pie filling
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger

How To Make autumn pumpkin pie dip

  • Step 1
    In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and confectioners sugar at medium speed with a hand mixer.
  • Step 2
    Add the pie filling, ground cinnamon, and ginger and beat well.
  • Step 3
    Cover and chill.
  • Step 4
    Serve with ginger snaps and sliced apples. Note:I think sprinkling crushed gingersnaps on top of dip will make a pretty presentation.
