A nice variation of spinach artichoke dip. This appetizer uses marinated and canned artichokes, but no spinach.

Ingredients

  • 1 jar marinated artichokes (6 oz)
  • 1/2 cup canned artichoke hearts, packed in water, drained
  • 1/2 cup water chestnuts, choppd
  • 2 tablespoons green onions, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened (3 oz)
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 - 1/2 cup sour cream
  • seasoned salt and pepper
  • dash cayenne pepper

How To Make artichoke dip two ways

  • Step 1
    Drain the marinated artichoke hearts, reserving 1 Tbsp of marinade. Dice both artichoke hearts and combine with minced onion. Set aside.
  • Step 2
    Combine cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, and seasonings. Combine well. Blend in artichokes, water chestnuts, and reserved marinade.
  • Step 3
    Heat over low heat until all cheeses are blended. Serve hot or chilled.
