How to Make Homemade Chocolate Syrup
- Combine cocoa, sugar and salt in medium saucepan, gradually stir in water until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly, continue to cook for 3 minutes. (do not leave unattended, it will boil over really quick). remove from heat and let cool completely. Refridgerate. I use a Hersheys syrup bottle to store mine in.
