this is a great chocolate syrup to serve over ice cream and pies or what ever else you may want to put on it i love it by it self but not to much

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, light
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup hersheys cocoa powder
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
How To Make homemade chocolate syrup

Step 1in a medium saucepan whisk together salt, sugars and cocoa until they are combined and there are no lumps.

Step 2add the water and whisk to combine. turn heat to medium and bring to a boil, whisking frequently.

Step 3reduce the heat to medium low whisking occasionally. allow the mixture to simmer until it has slightly reduced and. thickened

Step 4remove from the heat and stir in vanilla. pour into a mason jar and allow to come to room temperature. cover and refrigerate.
