This is great over icecream, pound cake plain brownies or anything you want to give that special taste. Wonderful after you let it sit and blend. I got this recipe from an online chef and couldn't wait to try it.

Ingredients

  • 1, 3/4 cups heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, cut in small pieces
  • 2, 3/4 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make chocolate sauce

  • Step 1
In a heavy bottom saucepan over low heat, bring the cream just to a boil and then add the brown sugar stirring just until it dissolves. Add small pieces of butter and mix until completely melted, stir in chocolate chips.
  • Step 2
Stir in salt and vanilla and blend until well incorporated. Let cool for 15 minutes; it wil thicken as it cools. Can be stored a week in a glass jar in the refrigerator. Heat to warm but not hot when serving.
