Serve this sauce warm as a dipping sauce for fresh fruit or spoon over ice cream. Makes a yummy and simple gift - add fresh fruit or cookies.

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup, light

How To Make chocolate sauce

  • Step 1
    Combine ingredients in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave, uncovered on High for 1 minute. Stir. If necessary, microwave at additional 20-30 second intervals, stirring until morsels are melted and sauce is smooth.
  • Step 2
    Add 2-3 tablespoons of flavored liqueur or 1/2 tsp flavored extract if you want to add a flavor.
  • Step 3
    ~Milk chocolate chips can also be used.
