Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter, cubed
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can evaporated milk (12 ounce)
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make chocolate sauce

  • Step 1
    In a large heavy saucepan, melt butter and chocolate over low heat. Stir in evaporated milk and sugar until smooth. Bring to a boil over medium heat; cook and stir for 8 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla. Serve warm sauce with cake or ice cream.
