chocolate ice cream sauce

This makes about 2 quarts of sauce. It's good over ice cream or over brownies or even in coffee. It can be heated in small amounts in the microwave to top with. You may also use any other type of chips to make other flavors such as white chocolate or butterscotch or etc.

Ingredients

  • - 3 cans sweetened condensed milk
  • - 1 can evaporated milk
  • - 1 stick oleo
  • - 1/4 cup white syrup
  • - 1 12 oz bag of chocolate chips
  • - 1 tsp. vanilla or almond extract if desired

How To Make chocolate ice cream sauce

  • Step 1
    Put all ingredients in a large microwave safe bowl.
  • Step 2
    Heat until chocolate chips are melted. (I cover the bowl).
  • Step 3
    Stir together well. Pour into container and refrigerate.
  • Step 4
    This will keep for about 2 weeks in the frig. Small amounts may be taken out and heated to pour over desserts.
