Salted Caramel Sauce

1 cup (200 g) Redpath® Dark Brown Sugar
4 tbsp (57 g) butter
1/2 cup (120 ml) heavy cream
1 tbsp (15 ml) vanilla
1/2 tsp (3 g) fine sea salt
Yield: 1 cup (250 ml)
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 7 minutes
Chef’s Tip
If caramel crystallizes when chilled, just warm gently in microwave before using.
