- FOR THE PEAR DRESSING
- 1/2 barlett pear peeled cored and diced
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 3 tablespoons pear nectar
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon whole grain mustard
- salt and pepper
- FOR THE SALAD
- 2 large tuna steaks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- salt and pepper
- 1 head butter lettuce chopped
- 1/2 barlette pear peeled cored and sliced
- 1/4 cup cooked shelled edamame
- 1 cup bok choy chopped
- 2 hard boiled eggs sliced
- 1 avocado peeled and pitted and diced
- 2 ounces goat cheese crumbled
- 1/4 cup pitashio nuts shelled
How To Make tuna steak salad with pear dressing

Step 1For the dressing Place all ingredients in food processor and process until smooth

Step 2For the salad On 2 plates place the lettuce, pear, edamame, bok choy, eggs, avocado, pitashios and crumbled goat cheese.

Step 3Add olive oil to skillet. Season the Tuna steaks with salt and pepper. When the oil starts smoking sear the tuna on all side. Remove to a cutting board and cut into strips.

Step 4Place the tuna on top of the salad and pour dressing over.
