hubby’s tuna salad

My mother in law used to make this for him when he was young. Over the years, I added the seasonings & he likes it even more. Sometimes I will add hard boiled eggs, diced red or green bell pepper, or whatever else I have that sounds good. (I personally don't eat this because I don't like olives.)

Ingredients For hubby’s tuna salad

  • 1 can
    tuna, packed in water (albacore chunk)
  • 1/4 c
    hot banana pepper rings, diced small
  • 1/4 c
    green olives, sliced
  • 1/8 tsp
    celery salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic power
  • 2 Tbsp
    mayonnaise,heaping

How To Make hubby’s tuna salad

    Drain tuna well.
  • 2
    Put all ingredient in a bowl & mix thoroughly.(If it seems too dry, add a little more mayo.)

    Note: This is best after it is chilled, but of course , you can eat it right away. He usually has it with Ritz crackers when he takes it to work, but at home he has a sandwich.
