Hearty Tuna Salad

When we lived in Belgium, this was a recipe I enjoyed while eating out on the deck. The beans and chow mein noodles make a wonderful addition to this easy salad!

Ingredients

  •   10 oz
    italian green beans
  •   7 oz
    tuna in oil, drained
  •   1 c
    celery, thinly sliced
  •   1/2 c
    mayo
  •   1 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  •   1 1/2 tsp
    soy sauce
  •  
    dash garlic powder
  •  
    lettuce
  •   1 c
    chow mein noodles

How To Make

    Cook beans to package directions. Drain and cool. Combine beans with tuna, celery, mayo, lemon juice, soy sauce and garlic. Chill. Just before serving add chow mein noodles to mixture, toss lightly and serve in lettuce cup.
