tuna-apple salad toast cups
I always have fun with recipes when my Granddaughters come over. This is simple and flavorful. Also a great way for kiddies to enjoy tuna during Lent. You can substitute halved red grapes also, or use mini muffin pan for great app!

Ingredients
- 2 cans tuna, packed in water 12oz
- 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sout cream
- 1 small sweet apple cut in chunks
- 1 teaspoon fresh chopped chives
- 2 sprigs fresh thyme
- pinch salt and pepper
- TOAST CUPS
- 6 slices whole grain or 12 grain bread
- 1/4 cup melted butter
How To Make tuna-apple salad toast cups

Step 1Combine tuna and ingredients and set aside. (Or any way You enjoy your tuna. Made mine simple with apples for kiddies to enjoy)

Step 2Take slices of bread and press in muffin pans, Brush each with butter. Place in 400 degree oven for 5-7 minutes till lightly toasted. Pop out and fill with tuna salad. Also makes great app using small bread slices in mini muffin pans.
