Ingredients

  • 2 packages 3 cheese tortellini pasta
  • 1 jar pesto sauce with basil
  • 2 boxes cherry tomatoes - red and yellow mixed
  • 1 - red onion - thin sliced or chopped
  • 1 1/2 cups bell peppers, red, orange yellow
  • 1-2 bottle zesty italian salad,dressing
  • 1 cup shreddedparmesan cheese

How To Make tortellini pesto salad

  • Step 1
    Cook tortellini pasta in boiling water 5-6 minutes. Add olive oil to the water to prevent sticking. Drain in colander and chill.
  • Step 2
    Chop red onion, bell peppers. Half cherry tomatoes if they are large. Grape tomatoes preferred. Add to the cooled pasta. Black olives optional
  • Step 3
    Toss pasta with pesto, zesty Italian dressing. Add shredded parmesan cheese . Refrigerate until ready to serve
