Ingredients

  • 1 box rigatoni pasta, cooked
  • 4 ounces pimientos
  • 1 medium cucumber (sliced thin)
  • 2 - spring onions, including green (sliced thin)
  • 3/4 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon accent (or seasoning salt)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons parsley
  • 3 teaspoons prepared mustard

How To Make sandy's zesty pasta salad

  • Step 1
    Cook pasta as directed until al dente; drain.
  • Step 2
    While pasta is cooking, whisk together oil, sugar, vinegar, seasonings, and mustard well. Let chill.
  • Step 3
    Thinly slice veggies and mix with pimentos. Add drained pasta.
  • Step 4
    Pour dressing over all and toss well. Refrigerate after serving.
