Ingredients

  • 16 oz
    elbow macaroni, uncooked
  • 4
    carrots, shredded
  • 1/2
    white onion, chopped
  • 1
    green bell pepper
  • 1 c
    chopped celery
  • 2 c
    mayonnaise
  • 14 oz
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 c
    white vinegar
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Macaroni Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Bring a large of lightly salted water to boil. Add macaroni, and cook until tender, about 8 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the carrots, onion, green pepper and celery. Mix in the mayonnaise, condensed milk, vinegar and salt and pepper.
  3. Add the macaroni, toss gently, cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.
