  • 4 slice
    bacon
  • 2 medium
    apples, granny smith
  • 2 stalk(s)
    celery, thinly sliced
  • 2 medium
    carrots, grated
  • 1/2 c
    walnuts
  • 1/2 c
    golden raisins
  • 3-4 dash(es)
    salt and pepper
  • FOR THE DRESSING

  • 1/4 c
    mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp
    sugar
  • 1 tsp
    celery seeds

How to Make Waldorf Slaw

Step-by-Step

  1. Cook the bacon in a medium skillet over medium heat, til golden brown. Drain on paper towels and chop into 1/2 inch pieces.
  2. Wash, then cut and core the apple. Chop the apple into small chunks. Put the apples, bacon, celery, carrots, and golden raisins in a large bowl. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl whisk the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, sugar, celery seeds together until blended.
  4. Pour the dressing over the sliced veggies and toss to coat.
