Ingredients
- 3 ounces package of oriental noodles with chicken flavoring (uncooked)
- 4 cups cabbage, shredded
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 4 - green onions
- 3 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 teaspoon ground white pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds (toasted)
How To Make oriental cabbage salad

Step 1Break dry noodles and place in colander. Pour boiling water over noodles to soften them slightly. Drain well.

Step 2In a large bowl combine noodles, cabbage, onions and sesame seeds.

Step 3For dressing, in a screw top jar, combine seasoning packet from noodles, vinegar, sugar, oil, pepper and salt. Shake to mix well.

Step 4Pour dressing over cabbage mix and toss. Cover and chill several hours or over night. Before serving stir in slivered almonds.
