leanne's spicy coleslaw

My family loves spicy food,this is a recipe I tweaked to my liking that goes well with BBQ. Use more or less peppers depending on your tolerance for heat. Use as much vegetables as you need,this is not so much a recipe as a method.

Ingredients

  • DRESSING
  • - 2 tablespoons sugar
  • - 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • - 1 teaspoon salt
  • - 1/4 c dark sesame oil
  • - 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • COLESLAW
  • - green cabbage,shredded
  • - carrots,grated
  • - green onions,minced
  • - cilantro,chopped
  • - jalapeño or serrano pepper,minced
  • - toasted sesame seeds
  • - toasted slivered almonds,optional

How To Make leanne's spicy coleslaw

  • Step 1
    Mix dressing ingredients well until sugar is dissolved. Mix vegetables,add just enough dressing to moisten vegetables,mix well. Sprinkle with sesame seeds,toss.
