- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup vinegar
- 3/4 cup salad oil
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 tablespoons celery seed
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons salt
How To Make german ice box slaw

Step 1Alternate layers of cabbage & onion in salad bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and celery seed each layer. Combine vinegar, oil, mustard,1 tsp. sugar & salt. Heat to boiling point. Pour over slaw and put in refrigerator for up to 4 hours before serving.
