How To Make german ice box slaw

1Alternate layers of cabbage & onion in salad bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and celery seed each layer. Combine vinegar, oil, mustard,1 tsp. sugar & salt. Heat to boiling point. Pour over slaw and put in refrigerator for up to 4 hours before serving.
