I had never heard of this until I started working at this grocery store. Once I tried it though, it was over! This salad is amazing!

green bell pepper, chopped

onion, chopped

tomato, chopped
1/2 lb
cubed virginia ham
1/2 lb
cubed, fresh american cheese
8 oz
kraft ranch dressing

How to Make Cornbread Salad

Step-by-Step

  • 1Crumble both loaves of cornbread onto a baking sheet and put in a 350 degree oven. Bake until it starts to toast.
  • 2Add crumbled, toasted cornbread to a large mixing bowl. Add green pepper, tomato, onion, ham and cheese. Toss well.
  • 3Add dressing and mix well until coated. Refrigerate 30 minutes to overnight for flavors to mix.
