amish broccoli/cauliflower salad
I found this recipe on FB as posted by Emily Berkman. This is quickly becoming a favorite of ours. If this has been posted before I'm sorry to duplicate, but I couldn't find it. I'm sure this could also be made more healthy by using low-fat mayo and sour cream.....There is a picture on FB, but I'm having a hard time trying to get it to transfer. Forgot to make photo when I have made this salad.

Ingredients
- 1 - broccoli, small florets
- 1 - cauliflower, small florets
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 pound bacon
- 1 cup cheese, shredded
How To Make amish broccoli/cauliflower salad

Step 1Mix mayonnaise, sour cream, sugar and salt together (so sugar will disolve).

Step 2Fry 1/2 pound bacon until crisp. Let cool, then crumble.

Step 3While bacon is cooking, chop broccoli and cauliflower into florets. Put in large bowl, add cheese, bacon and dressing. Mix well and put in refrigerator until ready to eat. Serve as a side or salad alone.
