Lime Delight

The recipe does not call for the marshmallows to be melted into the jello; just added in when you add the cold water. I like the change, which is an idea I transferred from a favorite recipe of mine. Try it both ways!

Stove Top


2 c
boiling water
2 c
cold water
3 oz
pkg ea lime and lemon jello
1/2 pkg
miniture marshmallows
1 c
pecans, broken
8 oz
crushed pineapple, drained
3 oz
cream cheese
2 Tbsp


1Mix both jello mixes with boiling water; stir in marshmallows until melted. Add cold water. Pour into a 2 quart mold or dish. Refrigerate.
2Meanwhile, beat softened cheese with pineapple and vinegar. Add pecans. Fold this mixture into partially set jello. Chill.
