Ingredients

  • 2 pkg
    lime jello
  • 1 pkg
    lemon jello
  • 2 pkg
    cherry jello
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 can(s)
    crushed pineapple, drained save the juice
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 c
    mayonaise
  • 1 c
    heavy cream
  • 1/2 c
    small marshmellows

How to Make Christmas Ribbon Salad

Step-by-Step

  1. Prepare lime jello according to package directions
  2. Pour into 15 X 10 1/2 pan
  3. Chill until almost set
  4. Dissolve lemon jello in hot water in top of double boiler.
  5. Add marshmallows and melt
  6. Remove from heat
  7. Add 1 cup pineapple juice and cream cheese
  8. Beat until blended
  9. Stir in 1 cup drained pineapple. Cool slightly
  10. Fold in mayonnaise and heavy cream
  11. Pour this mixture over the lime jello which by now has set up
  12. Chill until almost set
  13. Prepare cherry jello according to directions on package
  14. Chill until the consistency of egg white
  15. Pour over pineapple layer
  16. Chill until firm
