One of my former co-workers made this for pot luck lunches. It was always a crowd favorite.

Ingredients

  • SALAD
  • 1 pound spinach, fresh
  • 1 pint strawberries, fresh
  • 1/2 cup pecans, roasted
  • - butter
  • POPPYSEED DRESSING
  • 1/3 cup raspberry vinaigrette
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons poppyseeds

How To Make strawberry poppyseed salad

  • Step 1
    Roast pecans with butter at 350 degrees for 10 minutes
  • Step 2
    Mix all salad ingredients
  • Step 3
    Mix all dressing ingredients
  • Step 4
    Add dressing to salad and toss. Let flavors blend for about 15 minutes before serving.
