There are many versions of this dish out there. This one is my favorite. I love how it looks in a trifle dish. Great for summer picnics and parties. Tastes better the next day.

Ingredients
- 8 cups iceberg lettuce
- 1 medium red onion sliced into rings
- 10 packages frozen peas thawed
- 6 ounces ham chunks
- 2 large tomatoes diced
- 1 1/2 cups real mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan
- - salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
- 12 ounces bacon cooked and crumbled
How To Make layered salad

Step 1Layer the lettuce,onions, peas, ham, and tomatoes in dish.

Step 2Mix together the mayo, parmesan, salt and pepper. spread over layers.

Step 3Top with cheese then bacon

Step 4Let sit in fridge at least 6 hours overnight is better.
