There are many versions of this dish out there. This one is my favorite. I love how it looks in a trifle dish. Great for summer picnics and parties. Tastes better the next day.

Ingredients

8 c
iceberg lettuce
1 medium
red onion sliced into rings
10 pkg
frozen peas thawed
6 oz
ham chunks
2 large
tomatoes diced
1 1/2 c
real mayonnaise
1/2 c
grated parmesan
salt and pepper to taste
2 c
sharp cheddar cheese shredded
12 oz
bacon cooked and crumbled

How to Make Layered Salad

Step-by-Step

  • 1Layer the lettuce,onions, peas, ham, and tomatoes in dish.
  • 2Mix together the mayo, parmesan, salt and pepper. spread over layers.
  • 3Top with cheese then bacon
  • 4Let sit in fridge at least 6 hours overnight is better.
