  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1/4 c
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1 large
    head iceburg lettuce, sliced
  • 6 slice
    bacon, cooked, crumbled (i use more)
  • 1/3 c
    sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1/4 c
    sesame seeds
  • 4
    green onions, sliced
  • 3/4 c
    chow mein noodles

How to Make Crunchy Asian Tossed Salad


  1. In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and pepper. Shake well. Chill at least an hour.
  2. Just before serving, combine the lettuce, bacon, almonds, sesame seeds and onions in a large bowl. Add dressing and toss.
  3. Top with chow mein noodles.
