I LOVE LOVE LOVE Caesar Salad! I'm very picky about the dressing and this recipe is really good. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup olive or vegetable oil (i use avocado oil)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon anchovy paste
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 - egg, coddled (or not, i'm not afraid of raw egg)
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese (i use sargento)
  • - garlic/cheese croutons
  • 1 - head of romaine lettuce

How To Make caesar salad

  • Step 1
    In a blender, add oil, salt, dry mustard, anchovy paste, egg and Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly. If dressing is too thick, add more oil and a tad of water until it's to your liking.
  • Step 2
    Thoroughly wash and dry romaine, tear into pieces and add dressing, shredded Parmesan and croutons. Mix well before serving.
  • Step 3
    This is enough for two salads. Double dressing recipe for serving more than 2 people.
