I LOVE LOVE LOVE Caesar Salad! I'm very picky about the dressing and this recipe is really good. Enjoy!

  • 1/2 c
olive or vegetable oil (i use avocado oil)
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    anchovy paste
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1-1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1
egg, coddled (or not, i'm not afraid of raw egg)
  • 2 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
shredded parmesan cheese (i use sargento)
  • ·
    garlic/cheese croutons
  • 1
    head of romaine lettuce

How to Make Caesar Salad

  1. In a blender, add oil, salt, dry mustard, anchovy paste, egg and Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly. If dressing is too thick, add more oil and a tad of water until it's to your liking.
  2. Thoroughly wash and dry romaine, tear into pieces and add dressing, shredded Parmesan and croutons. Mix well before serving.
  3. This is enough for two salads. Double dressing recipe for serving more than 2 people.
