Ingredients
- - 1 head lettuce, shredded
- - 1/2 cup diced celery
- - 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- - 1 can water chestnuts, sliced
- - 2 (10 oz.) packages frozen peas
- - 2 cups mayonnaise
- - 1 tablespoon sugar
- - 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- - 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
- - 5 hard boiled eggs, chopped
- - 6 tomatoes, cut unto wedges
How To Make amish salad

Step 1Layer lettuce, celery, onion, chestnuts and peas into large container.

Step 2Spread with mayonnaise and sprinkle with sugar and parmesan cheese.

Step 3Refrigerate overnight.

Step 4Cook bacon and crumble.

Step 5Add bacon, eggs and tomatoes just before serving.
