Ingredients

1/4
medium watermelon
1/2
cucumber
handful
fresh basil leaves
1 Tbsp
good olive oil
2 Tbsp
good balsamic vinegar

How to Make Watermelon Salad - Lisa's

Step-by-Step

  • 1Use Organic when possible.
    Mix in a large bowl.
  • 2Dice watermelon to bite size pieces. Add in bowl.
  • 3Slice cucumber and then 1/4 each slice, to make bite size pieces. Add to bowl.
  • 4Roll basil leaves and cut into small pieces. Add to bowl.
  • 5Add olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
  • 6Gently stir ingredients, cover and refrigerate for a few hours... or eat it right away!
  • 7Other things to add: grape tomatoes, feta, diced onion. Use your imagination.
    Add more vinegar if you prefer it to be a stronger flavor.
