waldorf salad
My version of it any way. It's one of our traditional Thanksgiving dishes. I discovered if you throw in some cooked cubed chicken or turkey, it makes an excellent chicken salad.

Ingredients
- 2 cups diced red apples (don't peel, the red gives it wonderful color)
- - juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- dash salt
How To Make waldorf salad

Step 1Put diced apples into a bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning. Add celery and nuts. Sprinkle in sugar and salt. Fold mayonnaise into apple mixture. Chill 2 hours.
