Waldorf Salad

My version of it any way. It's one of our traditional Thanksgiving dishes. I discovered if you throw in some cooked cubed chicken or turkey, it makes an excellent chicken salad.

Ingredients

2 c
diced red apples (don't peel, the red gives it wonderful color)
juice of 1/2 lemon
1 c
diced celery
1/2 c
chopped pecans
1/2 c
mayonnaise
1 Tbsp
sugar
dash(es)
salt

Step-By-Step

1Put diced apples into a bowl and sprinkle with lemon juice to prevent browning. Add celery and nuts. Sprinkle in sugar and salt. Fold mayonnaise into apple mixture. Chill 2 hours.
